The goal of the Media Center instruction is to help students to gain the 21st century technology skills they need to be succesful in today's digital age. Projects are devoted to help students learn to collaborate, create, research and evaluate information, and collect and analyze data.
All students have two scheduled classes in the Media Center each week for developing computer and research skills. The teachers also intergrate technology into their everyday learning through the use of classroom interactive Promethean boards, iPads, Chromebooks, individual learner response systems, and use of the open lab times in the Media Center.
Prior to using our technology students must sign an Archdiocese Responsible Use of Technology Agreement. To view that document, click here.
Students in grades K-4 visit the school library every Tuesday. Books are due back on Monday the following week for re-shelving. Students in grades 5 and 6 visit the library every Wednesday. Students in grades 7 and 8 have the opportunity to use the library any time they are in the Media Center.
